I recommend "Svíčková na smetaně" (typical vegetable cream sauce with beef meat, bread dumplings, whipped cream and cranberry jam), "Guláš" (goulash) or "Kachní stehno po staročesku" (Duck thigh with sauerkraut and potato dumplings).

Great Czech beer - Primator, various kinds on tap, my (and the bartender´s:) very favourite is the IPA. VERY friendly prices. Dog lovers will appreciate the two sausage dogs that are often present:)

Beautiful big park with a lookout well worth the stairs! The best time to go up the lookout is for the sunset, just amazing:) There's a fee of 120 CZK. And on the way to the park or back don't forget to have a beer at the Strahov Monastic Brewery - best beer in town!
