This is a great place for a stroll and walk. Easy walking with some stairs and rock ways. Beautiful views of the Straight, trees and surroundings. One of my favorites.

A must see when on the Island. The goats can be seen on the roof of the building. The shops have some special treats, fresh food and meats, and unique gift ideas (not the usual tourist items). A great donut shop and more to be seen here. It is about twenty minutes from the suite.

Westwood Lake has a 5km walk/hike around the lake. Most of the walk is flat with some slight slopes at the end.

What a better way to get to Vancouver for a day and to see the sights from up high. The Helijet takes about 12 minutes to get to Vancouver from Nanaimo. Free parking at the Helijet departure lot. A great way to see Nanaimo from the sky.
