Food & going out scene
Local favourites of ours for eating and drinking around 7mile beach, so much variety that is all very close to our door step.
Local pub, pub food and generally a busy crowd. Best on the menu are "Janey Mac and Cheese" & "Curry with half chips and half rice" you call call up for take away and walk over in a few mins

Great place to visit, shops and restaurants are everywhere plus a great harbour for views, about a 10min walk away, some of our favourites include:
1. Waterfront for lunch (sit outside under the trees)
2. Mizu for dinner (sit outside and enjoy the cool night air)

Great for takeaway Thai we use it all the time, this is just 100m from the front door and has a good selection. Call ahead and they will usually have it ready for pick up in 20mins

Great for takeaway or eat in pizza. This has a cool bar area also. Downstairs you will find a liquor store also, so for a pizza and wine night in its great also!

This is a great breakfast/brunch location. You can just walk over from our place in 10mins and get a table, they have full buffet as well as menu items. Have breakfast here, then walk out the front of the hotel and up the beach for a beach walk!

Hands down the best local steak place on island. Great for a family dinner or dinner for 2, you will not be disappointed. Everyone knows "copper falls" and most people we know will go at least once a month for a date night!

A good out of the way snorkel spot that you can spot turtles live! We have taken family and friends here and always spot and chase turtles around while snorkelling in the water off the pier.

Home and a great spot for snorkelling out front. Just to the left you should see a small ship wreck that you can snorkel too and usually find a lot of fish big and small hanging out there!

Cafe for breakfast or lunch, this is a local hot spot as the views of George Town Harbour and the food is great! its a bit of a walk on a hot day so consider grabbing a cab or a local bus along west bay road. A good visit if you are in George Town looking around and need a lunch spot!

Great fancy mexican place on one of the best parts of the beach in front of the kimpton hotel! really great if you are up that way for a swim anyway, the food and cocktails are great here.

Local water is fine to drink!
Most places will try to up sell you to bottled however the local water is great and everywhere purifies it even more that makes the taste even better. Our fridge has a purifier and the water is excellent.

Local buses up and down west bay rd
buses with yellow or green dots on them can be hailed on the street and will take you up west bay road and you can jump out when ever you want for only 2CI per person. They will usually come every 5mins so just keen an eye out.

Everywhere accepts USD
Don't get stuck with CI dollars at the end of your trip. The only place you really need cash is for taxi's (and they all accept USD also). CI dollars cannot be exchanged anywhere in the world so don't get stuck with a bunch at the end of your trip!

Sting Ray City
Most people come here just for it! It's a must and something we take all visitors to as its so unique to Cayman. If you can slot in a "mud slide" at rum point on the same trip this is also a must!

Walking/Busing/Cabbing
Most people who stay on 7mile don't need to rent a car as most of the time its walkable (unless its really hot out) cabs will also take you quickly places that are further than a 10min walk. Buses are a good option if you want to get somewhere up west bay rd for just 2CI
