I've always enjoyed going to Rehobeth because of the boardwalk and all of the stores to sightsee, buy fudge, famous fries. Soooo many variety of food choices and stores you could spend all day there. Rent bikes. It is 45 minutes from my place

Slaughter Beach is 24 minutes from my place that has a nice relaxing setting and plenty of parking that has a nominal fee. Great for families. There is no board walk on slaughter beach.

Lewes Beach
Lewes Beach is 27 miles, 37 min from my place. Very nice town.
Really cool place to visit, tour and learn about the area. Sometimes they have guided birding tours. 1.6 miles from my house.

Another one of my favorite very local parks! Great for anyone. Mile wooded and open trail that is easy to both walk and bike! There is a public bathroom, an area for kids to play, a baseball field, picnic areas and more! This park is only 3.3 miles from my place. Less time to this park than Killen's Pond State Park, although Killens is just a mile or two further

I’ve personally have always enjoyed Ruby Tuesdays as a franchised restaurant. Salad bar is usually stocked well and fresh.

OMG! This is the best pizza I have ever had in my life. The ingredients are sooo fresh while not being cooked to death that you typically find in pizza places. You pay a price, so if you want to splurge on really good pizza, go for it!!

Well, hey, it's just a greta place to visit. There is Dover Mall. It's small but still enough to give one something to do. There is a movie theater in it. Major stores like Victorias Secret, Macy's, Boscovs, Dicks Sporting Goods. A lot of cute shops in downtown Dover which I think is a must see.

Quaint historic town. Some awesome museums. Great place for sightseeing, easy walking.

Diners
Milford Diner has a habit of being open and then closing down, so I currently don’t recommend this diner. On the other hand, Westside Restaurant is my favorite local diner and IMO the best I’ve had even in the Lewes and Rehoboth area. I enjoy eggs anytime of the day. I must say they have the best omelettes and breakfast potatoes. Even their bacon is great!

Really nice place for the whole family. There is even a train ride for the little kiddies. It is part of kids playground. There is a restaurant right behind it next to main road.
