Their food is AMAZING! They are our closest neighbors and run a great restaurant. I love their Reuben sandwich, Cuban sandwich, pulled pork, po-boys, fried fish... all the things are delicious and I highly recommend.

French Truck makes the BEST coffee, in particular their pour-over is so, so good. Another favorite is their iced coffee. I don't know what they do to make their coffee so good, but they do it well. Highly recommend.

Ancora has a beautiful wood-fire pizza oven. From what I understand, the parts to build it were brought in pieces from Italy and then constructed here for the restaurant. They definitely put time and thought into their food and it shows. Delicious stuff.

Midway makes delicious deep-dish pizza. Their salads and on point as well as their drink specials. Each pizza is made to order, so it isn't quick, but it's totally worth it. The interior has really cool art and photos. Family-friendly and welcoming to those with kids. Great food and great vibes here.

Rook is a great coffee shop for those looking for a more off-the-beaten-path coffee shop vibe. They have game nights throughout the week and offer quiet spots for reading and sipping coffee. A very unique and lovely spot.

Company Burger makes the best burger in town I am convinced. They have great milkshakes and an amazing mayonnaise bar. We go regularly as it's a family favorite. I highly recommend checking it out.

LOVE Sarita's. Sarita's is a Freret Street staple having been here longer than almost all the other restaurants on the Freret Street corridor. They offer delicious tacos, sandwiches, and margaritas. Sarita's is great and you should try it.
