King of the Castle is the closest café and the best on the north end of Pako Street. Opens at 6:30am every day except Sunday for that early coffee and only about a 5 minute walk. It can get busy mid-mornings on the weekend if you are planning to sit down for breakfast.

63 Degrees is also a favourite of ours and a bit further walk south down Pako Street, taking about 10-12 minutes to walk. Great food for either breakfast or lunch, with open air seating along Pako Street.

The Telegraph is the closest pub, just at the very north end of Pako Street, and only a 10 minute walk from our home. Excellent food with both a bistro and bar.

Most convenient shopping area close to our home, the central supermarket Woolworths is surrounded by a few places to eat, as well as two pharmacies. There is a great sushi stand within the Woolworths as well as an excellent butcher just outside the pay counters.
