A sister cafe/bodegon to El Federal, a wondeful place to sit outside and have a picada, coffee and medilunas or dinner. It has a very extensive menu and it's reasonably priced too.

The best time to go to Puerto Madero is for a nice walk just before and during sunset time, for a beer during the week or to go at lunchtime during the week when it's quiet. It's just too packed at the weekend. La Dorita (Dique 2) has a great three-course with wine executive menu for $210 and is the best for a long, lazy lunch. On the same side and on the same dock as La Dorita there's a Volta ice-cream place and next to Volta is a nice cafe which is really fab for coffee and cakes.

Although it's close to Puerto Madero it's not a place I'd walk to alone but the cycle lanes go right past there and the 130 stops nearby.
