Incredible southern/southwestern dishes. Reservations are a must if dining. Walk ins welcome in bar. Great wine selection. Awesome fried shrimp on their happy hour menu. Say hi to the bartender Charlie if he's there! Great guy!

Locals favorite! Casual, incredible southern fare! Dog friendly outdoors. Great place for families. Saturday and Sunday has brunch menu only with a great bloody mary bar!

Great place to take children where there is a couple of parks, bike and paddle boat rentals.. During the summer they have a great water park. They also have a great dog park!

Beaches
IOP is the closest beach and has a county park located on 14th Ave. where you can pay to park (between $10 and $12) and use their outdoor showers, picnic tables, restrooms and volleyball court. They also have life guards during certain hours. There is free parking off of Palm Blvd in certain areas. Go to the City of Isle of Palms website for all the rules and details. Just fyi they are very strict and will give you a ticket if any rules aren’t followed. There is on street parking by the hour on Ocean Blvd (front beach). $2.50 an hour. Free after 8 pm. The city also has paid parking lots off of Ocean Blvd.

Isle of Palms Beach

Poe’s has great food, hamburgers are my favorite! Mex 1, Home Team BBQ are great casual restaurants for lunch or dinner or just drinks. The Obstinate Daughter has great reviews and is a more upscale option for dinner.

Sullivan’s Island is better if you want to be at a less crowded beach. There are a few fun restaurants/bars as well. Dunleavy’s Pub is a great Irish bar.
