A short (and muddy when rainy) walk to the rocky, cliff view. Be mindful of the waves, stay clear and do NOT go in when it's rough. Don't go if the gate is closed, those who do sometimes need to be rescued or die. Excellent sunset views.

The end of the road and the beginning of the Kalalau trail. Hike 2 miles in to Hanakapai Beach and optionally 2 miles up to the falls. Permits are required for the 11 miles trip into Kalalau. Even if you just do the first half mile to the lookout, it's worth it!
