5 min down the road turn off on Nixon Lake Road and go down less than an 1/8 mile where you will see old stone column on the left. Look carefully there and you will see the path that will take you to the lake. It's a perfect ride from here on your bike!

Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. If you go in the AM, have breakfast at the Pine Cone in town.

Hiking, biking, snowshoeing, dog-friendly. Access it on K (park lot)--this is the more challenging portion of the trail. Or access it from Concora (K east to Old K to Concora). From there, you can take a scenic short 1 mile loop to the bridge and back.

Conover-Phelps Bike Trail. Ice cream at the beg at the BoatHouse and end in Phelps. Newly completed! Doesnt look like much at first but stay with it; it is a nice ride. The first part sunny in wetlands, About 5 miles in very shaded and limestone. Near Phelps, newly paved, scenic. To catch trail: K east. Watch for signs as you get in Conover.
