Jims place is about a 15 minute walk from our place off the highway, if you're thinking pizza, it HAS to be from here it is the best in town. Ordering online or by phone usually takes 20 mins or so. They have good icecream as well.

Our FAVE beach, this one cant be beat. Its about a 20 minute drive from our house, worth the drive. small parking so the beach is never over crowded like many of the OK beaches are and its very clean and crystal clear waters. Lots of picnic tables and a dock.

about 15 minutes away on Kalamalka lake this is the best beach for a day visit, the water is gorgeous and crystal clear. You must be packed for the walk down to the beach from the parking lot. Lots of hiking trails around it, large green space. It's the locals very favourite beach. Has potential to be busy but do not miss this one!
This is a beautiful campground, go park in public parking and enjoy the beach, playgrounds and picnic tables. Its more of a woodsy vibe, one of the best beaches in Vernon. About 1/2 hour away.

Trails & Hiking
The rail trail is your place to go for long walks or bike rides and off the trail - swims. You can start this trail from the Rail Trail Cafe off Kal Road, parking is located down Kickwillie Loop area. If you're motivated you can follow this by bike as far as Kelowna. It has many entrances and exits. This is the locals favourite. We personally like driving down the Kekuli Campground and entering it from there. (less crowded and easier to acccess)
