Super nice Cafè named after Civil Rights Icon Rosa Parks, the name came up after me and my husband rebuilt Rosa Parks former Detroit home in our garden. They have also readings at times.

Turkish owned restaurant with turkish and italian food. I recommend the 'Halloumi im Brot' it's cheap, vegetarian and very lecker. Or ‘Halloumi Teller'. ‘Linsensuppe' is also great! No alcohol there- but hey :-) go for a drink afterwards....

Getting Around
U8 connects Kreuzberg with the very nord of the city... One of the main metro lines. You can walk or take the bus in front of PENNY markt Soldinerstrasse/Prinzenallee (2 stations).
Take U8 in direction 'Hermannstrasse' and take 3/4 stations to Rosenthaler Platz or Weinmeisterstrasse and you are in the hip center of Berlin Mitte. You can take the U8 also all the way down to Kreuzberg and check out the market at the lake (Tuesdays and Fridays) ‘Schönleinstrasse'
