From the flat walking is the best option to get around but Uber/United taxi apps are good. Bus connections are cheap but very busy in the summer. Parking into town can be expensive but there are a few car parks and spots in town with free parking that I can provide. We have beryl bikes in town but just be careful with the electrical scooters as they are now banned down the beachfront

Would recommend with kids to book the aquarium as this gets very busy in the summer. There is also the cinema in BH2 which is good with recliners and alcohol. BH2 also has escape rooms which need booking in advance and a place called boombar which has got axe throwing and virtual darts etc which is really fun! At christmas the markets are really good, you can book in advance snow globes to have food & drinks in which is cool. Ice skating requires booking in advance Live music at places like Aruba & 1812 require booking

when coming with dogs please bring blankets and anything to cover where they sleep if you are coming in the summer, we have some beach toys for your children here but bring some beach games before you come as they are expensive to buy at the beach! We also provide tea/coffee/sugar etc but anything special for the kitchen please bring it with you We do not provide beach towels only towels for showering please do not bring them to the beach

When travelling with children I would just be aware that in the peek of summer central bournemouth beach at night can very very busy and drinking around the pier is very popular. If you are looking for more of a family evening beach trip I would go to sandbanks/ Westcliff or anything around alum chine I would also be aware walking around Bournemouth gardens late at night as the area is not well lite and can be extremely busy
