This neolithic sight has great views of the Cotswolds countryside and is excellent for dog walks. If you're staying over a Solstice or Equinox there's usually a celebration where newcomers are made welcome.

The only palace that's never been a royal residence don't you know. In my opinion, not the best house to look around, but the ground are lovely. Get yourself a pass for the gardens, but don't bother with the house.
