You can take yourself on a tour of the brewery, they have a walkway over the brewery that lets you see the action. If possible try to reserve a guided tour where they take you up closer to the process, letting you in the Hop Room to take a smell, a tasting session, etc. The shop and restaurant are great, indoor dinner and outdoor patio area.

Blue Heron Whitewater
35 Little Pine RdThe place to go for a whitewater adventure on the French Broad.
One of our favorite hikes. It's about a 30 minute drive just on the other side of Saluda. Parking area is for both Big Bradley and Little Bradley. Drive to the end of parking area, cross over the bridge and park on the right if possible to access trail. Take the short climb straight up to find the trail, do not follow the rivers edge. The falls are a 1.8 mile moderate hike, with not much climbing. There are two places where you have to cross the streams by stepping across on rocks. You might get your feet wet.
