Beautiful little village on the other side of the lake. Not so many toursist as in Bellaggio. Very romantic scenic village. There are boats from Menaggio several times a day. Our favourite restaurant in Varenna is "Al Prato".

Great place for shopping, somewhat expensive, but very charming city. We usually go the for lunch there and just stroll around the city. Our favourite place for lunch is "Bottegone del Vino" at Visa Massimiliano Magatto 3.

Beautiful city. Must see is the Duomo and perhaps also a trip with the funicular to Brunate.

Beautiful hike with spectacular view over the lake once you reach the top. About 1h30min from Breglia. You reach the startingpoint at Breglia by following the street up from our house in about 5 min by Car. If you want a longer hike its possible to continue to Monte Grona .

Considered one of the most beautiful panoramic balconies in the region, Monte Berlinghera (1,930 m a.s.l.) is part of the Lepontine Alps on the western coast of Lake Como and Lake Mezzola, on the border between the Province of Como and the Province of Sondrio. The hike to the top is pleasant and not too difficult, and the view from the top will literally take your breath away.
