My favorite Italian restaurant in all of Rochester located on Park Avenue. It is small, and the menu is rotating. The food is delicious, the staff is incredible, the wine list is lovely, and the cocktail program is top tier.

Neighborhoods
This is a small neighborhood on a beautiful lake. Shops and restaurants line the main drag. Beautiful botanical gardens (Sonnenberg Gardens). This is a really lovely town to take a stroll. About 40 minutes from the house.

NOTA is a very diverse neighborhood. Super safe, and you can find anything you want. Craft stores, fresh juices, cafes, upscale restaurants, breweries, wineries. The art gallery is in this neighborhood too.

The town is nothing to write home about, but the natural beauty of the falls are incredible. There is a casino on-site and it is nearby to Buffalo which has an amazing food and beverage scene as well as a really nice zoo, and a NFL team!

Buffalo is a great city for restaurants and also has a lovely lake/river front area called Riverworks. The best burger I have ever had was from Allentown Burger Venture in Buffalo. Catch a Buffalo Bills game if you're looking for a wild, jaw-dropping experience.

I know this is crazy, but Rochestarians are WILD about this grocery store, started in Rochester. The closest one to the house isn't all that fantastic, however, the flagship one on Monroe Avenue in Pittsford is an amusement park for grocery store aficionada.

This is a beautiful park with a stream running through it. There are two entrances, to the park. Choose the north one. You have to park along the street in a quiet neighborhood but it is always a beautiful time.

Cars aren't necessary, but convenient. Uber and Lyft are available. Bus transit isn't great and the main station is downtown.

I have provided all the basics, and have tons of towels, blankets, extra bedding and toiletries. Bring your bathing suit for the jacuzzi, and hiking shoes if that's your thing.
