The gorge provides a valuable exposure of rock strata as old as 111 million years showing fossils and a set of dinosaur tracks, and forms a new ecosystem for wildlife with carp and other creatures in a series of pools fed by springs and waterfalls." - Wikipedia

Food scene
From the outside, Nik's Not Normal doesn't look like much, but I promise you will enjoy the BBQ and sides! They are usually open Friday - Sunday 11am-4pm. There are outside picnic tables but I prefer to pick up food to bring home. They even offer you a free Lone Star beer to enjoy while they prepare your order.
