A great foot traffic only shopping area with great restaurants and anchor stores plus original shops. Band on the Bricks on Wednesdays in the summer. Street performers in the summer. Farmers Market nearby in the summer. Boulder is a great day trip. If you drive down on Boulder Canyon Drive, be sure to check out the short hike to a Boulder Falls waterfall along the way. Boulder has excellent indoor climbing gyms and yoga studios that offer drop in, one day passes.

Hiking
The hike to Diamond Lake is amazing. About halfway along the trail there is a sharp up and back switchback with a sign for Arapahoe Basin. That is an even better view if your legs and lungs are feeling up to the challenge. If your car isn't up for the 5 miles of pot holes to get to the trailhead, you can park at Hessie (before the road turns sharply right and becomes unpaved) and hike to a beautiful waterfall instead. The Alltrails app is good for finding hikes.
