About Sherwood Road
Our ranch is along Sherwood Road in Willits.
Sherwood Road is a long road with three access points:
THE MAIN SHERWOOD ROAD INTERSECTION
is in downtown Willits at Main Street.
There is a traffic signal and Sherwood Road is paved
all the way to our ranch.
This is the ONLY route you should take
SOUTH OF LAYTONVILLE AT HWY 101
Sherwood Road connects with Hwy 101
just south of Laytonville. This section of Sherwood Road is a dirt road that winds through the forest. DO NOT take this road unless you know the area. It is easy to get lost.
FORT BRAGG / SHERWOOD ROAD
GPS shows Fort Bragg / Sherwood Road as if it is
a usable road between Fort Bragg and Willits.
This road is NOT PASSABLE.
Fort Bragg / Sherwood Road is a very rough, treacherous
dirt road. There is no internet or cell service 10 miles out
this road, and you could become stuck.
DO NOT TAKE FORT BRAGG / SHERWOOD ROAD!
TO GO between Willits and the Coast, take HWY 20.
It is paved, well maintained, and is a pleasant, curvy drive through the forest.
