A mix of historic features and more - take a look at Hastings Old Town, take a ride on the Funicular at East Hill Cliff Railway, visit the Smuggler's Caves, amongst other things.
There is a more modern shopping centre and of course the sea - take a walk along the seafront (even better at St.Leonards).
