Yes, that's a full quart of ice cream with a full cupcake, whipped cream and sprinkles all over it! And The Mister loved every bite, though I he did crash about an hour later. This is a special occasion place for us!

1800 N Spring StRecommended by one of our guests. They took a guided tour on the Naval Air Base.
We had a couple take the one-hour tour, it was $40 a person.
They said it was a very fun and informative tour. Also, "the one-hour tour is kind of kid friendly because he stops and teaches about the alligators and other things, and let's you take pictures kind of more sightseeing. The other is a half hour tour and is meant for speed."
Nice thing about that is it's just a stone's throw away from the USS Alabama and USS Drum. Which we went to after we got done there.

Peavine Falls, WOW! We found this Hidden Gem in Oak Mountain State Park, Pelham, Alabama. I can't lie, it was a quite a hike to get to it but totally worth it. They say the falls are dry during dry seasons so it's best to go after a good rain. And yes, you can get in the water and under the falls. It's best to bring water shoes if your feet are tender to rocks.

We hiked Oak Mountain State Park in search of Peavine Falls. It was a beautiful hike but easily the hardest one we've ever done.
