Great place for everyone…. Food is amazing, made from scratch and sourced from local farms. Retro atmosphere. Something for everyone…. Meat lovers…. Vegan… gluten free… you name it. Try the chai……It’s my fav! Cinnamon roll is yummy as is the monkey bread! Fresh squeezed juices. Expect a 15 min drive from
our house.

Frankenmuth is a Bavarian-style city in MI showcasing German roots. The main street has lot of restaurants, breweries, boutiques and specialty shops with festivals, concerts and other fun events throughout the summer. It's about an hour from Lansing but totally worth the drive!

Sightseeing
If you like the zoo but don't want to make an entire day of it or have to travel very far, Potter Park Zoo is for you! Local and boasting more than 160 species of animals from around the world as well as lots of hands-on activities that people of all ages would enjoy. It's a crowd pleaser! My personal faves are the camel rides and giraffe feedings! It's a relatively inexpensive trip too. They have snack shacks on site with a souvenir shop as well, beautiful parks and gardens, watercraft and a special Grey Wolf attraction. It's a great way to spend a few hours or the entire day! Located on a very beautiful, scenic setting along Lansing's Grand River.

This is a great shopping centre with lots of variety, restaurants, a movie theatre, frozen yogurt, etc. This is not a mall, it's a shopping centre outdoor walking to each store. There is plenty of parking and it's free!

If you like to hike, bike, run or walk the Lansing RiverTrail is a must! Altogether, over 20 miles of paved trail pass through numerous parks and natural areas, as well as Downtown Lansing along the beautiful Grand River.
