Best pizza in town. My favorite is the spinach. They make a thin hearty crust pizza called "Neapolitan". They make their dough fresh every night. They use fresh grated Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses, and their rich sauce will make you happy and warm inside. Vinnie's delivers it's Pizzas to the downtown area on bicycles.

A line gathers each morning awaiting the doors to open at 11am and the lunch crowd finds seats at one of the large tables-for-ten shared by strangers. Tabletops are crowded with platters of fried chicken and cornbread dressing, sweet potato souffle, black-eyed peas, okra gumbo, corn muffins and biscuits. The menu changes daily so regulars can have something different every day. Stop by and enjoy the special pleasure of a meal shared with neighbors and strangers.

The east border of Forsyth Park is Drayton Street, and on the west is Whitaker. For locals and tourists, Forsyth Park is a hub of social interaction. Concerts, recreation sports, people watching, sun bathing, reading, relaxing…can all be seen going on in Forsyth Park depending on when you are there. On Saturdays, a great farmers market takes place in Forsyth Park. If you are going to visit the historic district of Savannah, make sure to plan an hour to check out Forsyth Park.
