The Anagach woods are a just short walk from The Hazels, located on the other side of the River Spey.
The Anagach Woods are a beautiful natural Scots pinewood forest. There are several clearly marked paths through the woods. Look out for capercaillie and red squirrels as you walk through the woods.

A real highlight to the area, Loch Morlich is a beautiful loch with a large beach, surrounded by mountains and beautiful forests. There are lots of great walks around and you can hire paddle boards and boats to explore the Loch.

Neighbourhoods
Cromdale is a small village. There is a community café (2P’s café) located in Cromdale Hall which is open 7am-2pm Monday-Friday. The hall is a 5 minute walk from The Hazels. There are plenty of opportunities for beautiful walks and drives around the area. The drive along the A95 to Aviemore offers spectacular views of the mountains.
We highly recommend you visit The Bothy Bakery (formally Mountain Cafe) and Andersons Wood Fired Pizza. They are located together 5 minutes drive from The Hazels. Neither place offers indoor seating but there is some seating outside.
