Nature

Natural Bridge (pictured above) is just one of the breathtaking features of Springbrook National Park. The park is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area, one of Queensland’s five World Heritage properties and part of the World Heritage Family. Explore the most extensive area of subtropical rainforest in the world, home to ancient flora and fauna. Check out towering Purling Brook Falls or opt for the more family-friendly Curtis Falls and Cedar Creek Falls, where you can stop for a splash and a dip, on a hot day.

Just up the road from The Polish Place sits a beautiful patch of green which comes alive in the mornings. Dozens of hang gliders launch off from this point and dot the horizon like colourful soaring eagles. Even if you can't get up the courage to attempt a tandem glide, you can still experience the thrill vicariously this way. So what are you waiting for? Spread out a picnic rug, soak up the sun and snap some spectacular pics. In my humble opinion, this spot is one of the best lookout points in the whole mountain.
