They have a great laid back vibe and a great menu with healthy and non healthy options. Their counter is great for dining alone, and their late hours are great to hit up after you go for drinks! I love the ahi tuna fresh witch.

This place is a local secret but gets packed on the weekends. It's super close to my listing. You guys will love their awesome breakfasts and gluten free options etc. It's a tad bit hipster, but it's great. Their coffee is amazing, and the little patio is wonderful. I have spotted several celebs here.

It's also fun to walk around the general area and shopping center. There are orchids really cheap across the way in the tiny little flower shop if you are feeling romantic. ;)

This is a hidden local gem. From the outside it looks divey. Inside it looks like China Town in a Bond movie, and they have amazing tiki drinks, and a mostly local and unpretentious crowd. A strange mix, but amazing bar. Well worth seeing!

This wine bar is so cozy and romantic, but also wonderful for small groups to chat. The lighting is low lit and very nice for dates. The wine selection is wonderful, and the crowd is very cool. Some of the nicest and most interesting people in L.A. love this place!

Sightseeing
It is a gorgeous view of the city, and make sure not to miss the fun planetarium shows. I highly recommend going at sunset. There's also a lovely photo op of the Hollywood sign if you aren't feeling up to hiking it!

There are wonderful hiking trails, and picnic tables around. L.A. isn't very nature filled, but this is a great place to get your fix. ;)

You guys just have to go. The shows range from about 5-25 dollars a show. They are excellent. I especially love the team 'Magic to Do' that performs improved musicals. Sometimes they have famous guests too. It's right down the street, and it's so much fun! Please go. It's a very L.A. thing to do. Tons of famous comedians got their start here. Amy Poehler was a founder!

There's a metro station here if you need to take the train. It's an easy walk. Avoid the people in suits on the way unless you actually do want to hear more about scientology.
