Fossil hunting (No fossil hammer though). Rockpooling and safe snorkelling. There is a car park next to the beach £5 toll road but good value if you are here all day.

Eggardon Hill is an iron-age hillfort which has one of the finest views of any hill-fort in the county. On a clear day you can see right across Lyme Bay to South Devon and Start Point.
