Secret Beach
The perfect beach is just 25mins away and is off the beaten tourist track, private, secluded, clean Sandy beach, with sea defences creating a bay with no concerns over safety re rip tides etc, lovely shallow depth and gorgeous Sandy dunes.
Head to Sea spelling ‘beach front’ at the tourist car park on the left hand side, keep going, around a mile or two down that coast road which runs parallel to the sea. Free parking is in the bays on the right hand side (if a spot is available) or alternatively to the left hand side, £3 parking all day. Selection of drinks and ice creams during holiday season. You will see a Burrito hut (RHS) and the coastal path which leads through the dunes and out to the bay, stunning. Body boards are fun to surf on the dune sand.
En route to Sea palling there’s an M&S Sumply Food if you fancy picking up a nice picnic and a Starbucks for coffee on the Acle roundabout about 3miles from the cottage.

Really lovely English wines, brunch, afternoon tea, roast dinners and seafood restaurant.
In the village next door, 30mins walk, the Brasserie is located within the Marina, pretty boats.
Check opening hours and pre book if possible.

Riverside EstateTHE best Indian Restaurant and Takeaway ever. Really good service, banter, excellent manners, lovely staff but the food is exceptionally good! Rated best in the UK one year, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Closest Norfolk Broad, Ranworth, 4miles away, within cycling distance. Lovely broads water, small boardwalk with a little play area at the end. The pub is opposite and has excellent food as well as an outdoor pizza oven. Ice creams and drinks available also from the little shop, free parking at the pub. Why not go visit the church - you can climb the steps to reach the top of the steeple… not for the faint hearted but really quite fun… do drinks at the pub AFTERWARDS and not before 😂
