Our historic village!
Pronounced "Eem" , the village is internationally famous for it's response to the plague in 1666, quaranting itself to prevent the spread to the rest of the valley.
Many houses have plaques detailing the victims who lived in them.
The village church and churchyard, the museum and the "Riley Graves" are all must visits.
