The Village is a ten min drive from home. Super popular among all who live in meridian. It’s an outdoor/indoor mall, restaurants, park, holiday events all in one. My personal favorite is early bird dining for happy hour specials or Cinnaholic for a cinnamon roll topped with cookie dough the size of your face
Has something for everyone. Kids, teen, adult popular shopping stores, outdoor park next to coffee and wine shop, upscale restaurants as well as quick bites and yummy dessert spots

Uber is common here. Parking isn’t an issue ever in meridian, downtown boise has plenty of parking garages or neighborhoods that allow paid or free parking depending on time of day.

Roaring springs in meridian is the perfect water park, but always pretty busy! Discovery and Kleiner park are two popular meridian parks. Jabbers and jump time are perfect for rainy day play

Boise Greenbelt
Several entrances to the Boise Greenbelt located within both Boise and Eagle. This Greenbelt is a paved path that you can walk, bike, run to see most this city as it goes in a giant circle around the city and runs through many park/rivers.

Differences between each city.
1- Boise- more melting pot, has downtown scene and all the sporting and concert events. Also plays host to boise state university. Boise LDS temple / 2- Meridian- plays host to larger families. Eagle road is the busiest road in Idaho and runs right through meridian and eagle. Meridian LDS temple located in north meridian. If you live in meridian you often stay here because it has everything you could need without having to leave eagle road. / 3- Eagle- smaller city and teeming with people from california especially trying to move in. More upscale and highest priced homes.
