Zandvoort beach is not only very suitable for sunbathing, swimming and lazing around, but everyone who is fond of water sports can indulge themselves here. There are plenty of recognized surf schools and water sports centers to learn to surf, kit, SUP, canoe or raft. If you are already an experienced water sports enthusiast, you can rent stuff there or have a drink.
Zandvoort has been designated as a daredevil sports location since 2016. The location where you can practice extreme beach and water sports, such as kite surfing and wave surfing. But because Zandvoort is also one of the most famous and popular seaside resorts in the Netherlands, it can be busy with bathers in the summer. To ensure that everyone can safely go to the beach, zones have been created for fast water sports enthusiasts and zones for swimmers. In the summer months, from April 15 to October 1, boaters must stay within these 'black' zones. As a water sports enthusiast, you can enjoy the sea everywhere from 1 October to 15 April.

Surfana is situated at Beachclub Rapa Nui and more to the north side of Zandvoort, near Bloemendaal at the beach. It's a perfect place if you want to learn wave surfing or rent equipment.
