This museum always has very cool exhibits that my kids love. It also has an omnitheater so you can be surrounded by stunning scenery on the giant 90 foot dome screen.

Lake Harriet is 9 blocks to our west. You can ride bike or jog around the lack, rent paddle boards, go swimming, take your kids to the park, rent a canoe, watch live music at the bandshell, go to an outdoor movie after dark, get ice cream, or visit the gardens. In the winter it's great for snow shoeing or cross country skiing. The trails are not groomed so if that's a priority look into Theodore Wirth Park or Hyland Lake Park Reserve.
