The Crest Theater looks almost as it did when it opened in 1947. It is absolutely stunning. There are movies, bands and much more that play at The Crest. Consider yourself lucky if you have to opportunity to see a show in this grand movie palace.

It looks like a dump, and it is, but the food is fabulous. Guy Fierre did a DDD episode on this place. It's right across the street from Channel 10 on Broadway and it's usually packed.

One of the first bars to open when Old Sacramento was first established, it's still one of the best. The hamburgers are great. Watch out which bathroom you go into. You'll know what I mean when you get there, but that comment has nothing to do with current politics.
