We love going to Newport Thai. They are located on the Main Road, close to the Service Station. Jean, Hugh & Cathy are the Owners. Cathy is also the Chef.

This is one of our favourite Restaurants. Walk through to the back of the Restaurant. It has a hidden back area with great ambiance with very friendly owners & staff. BYO.

Bilgola Beach, has a lovely little Cafe Coffee Shop right at the beach. I watched 3 whales in the ocean this morning, frolicking; they're presently heading South.

The Royal Motor Yacht Club; over looks picturesque PITTWATER, wonderful views of the numerous yachts.
If you're a "Yachtie" a must to visit; walk on the Pier and view the Yachts. They have super inexpensive meals for the whole family.

Forage is a great place to go to. It's tucked away at the top of Avalon Parade. It has great food & good Coffee. It has a lot of gluten free options. (Try their gluten Free Muffins with Almond Cream), DEE LICIOUS.

5 Hilltop RdForage is a great place to go to. It's tucked away at the top of Avalon Parade. It has great food & good Coffee. It has a lot of gluten free options. (Try their gluten Free Muffins with Almond Cream), DEE LICIOUS.

Clareville Beach, is a lovely beach for children.
The ocean is always calm & safe for children.
It's our FAVOURITE picnic spot for late afternoon, early evening during day light saving - October to end March

Barrenjoey Lighthouse is situated right at the end of the Peninsula at Palm Beach. A very picturesque walk up to the Historic Lighthouse with stunning views.
The Boat House Restaurant is also situated at Palm Beach, just beyond the Palm Beach Golf Course.

巴倫喬伊燈塔
1199D Barrenjoey RdBarrenjoey Lighthouse is situated right at the end of the Peninsula at Palm Beach. A very picturesque walk up to the Historic Lighthouse with stunning views.
The Boat House Restaurant is also situated at Palm Beach, just beyond the Palm Beach Golf Course.

Whale Beach
Whale Beach is a fabulous beach to visit.
Palm Beach Ferry, is a MUST. You can get the Ferry to Ettalong, disembark to Restaurants/shops. . Or continue to Wagstaff, where you could disembark, and do some delightful scenic walking, and swimming. One can also go to Patonga Beach Hotel, for great fish n chips.

Mona Vale, the suburb before Newport, has Coles & Woolies. Fabulous Health Store called SCOOP. Restaurants, one in particular called ROUGH & BARE (gluten & dairy free) many interestintg shops. Mona Vale has two large Medical Centres. One in Park Street, the other in Mona Vale Road, which I think is 24 hours.

Church Point is a Northern Beaches suburb, very close to Mona Vale, on McCarrs Creek Road. A wonderful area to visit. Very picturesque drive, driving or cycling parallel to Pittwater. There are many Restaurants. It's very iconic. They have the "famous" DOG RACE on Christmas Eve, from Church Point Café to Scotland Island. One can go Kayaking on Pittwater. Hire a Tinny, or get a water taxi.

All the Northern Beaches, beaches, have their own tidal pools for one to swim in, if one is not used to the beautiful ocean.

This Angophora Reserve is a 10 minute walk from our home. As you walk in a shoirt while. You come to a fork. You could take the left and it'll take you through a short part of the Reserve. Then you'll come to the roade. Continue walking, and about 500 metres along, on the right, are a set of stairs going down onto Avalon Parade. Once you're down the stairs. Turn right onto Avalon Parade, walking east towards the ocean. You'll end up at the Avalon shops, beach etc etc.
If you took the right fork. Its a longer walk. About 20 minutes through peace & tranquility. Before arriving in Palmgrove Road. Walk down, North, then at end of the street turn right. And you'll end up in Avalon. A wonderf
