The Great House is a fabulous gastropub its less than 2 minutes walk from where we are, they serve food until 9.30pm they also have a wood fired pizza oven which does take out, they don't deliver so you'll need to collect the pizza. The food is fantastic and it is worth booking a table, they always have good local draught beer and there is a charming pub garden.
This pub is a drive away in Ticehurst it’s really quirky, great local beers, check the menu online as since covid they have limited it, but what they have is good quality
