Definitely a mixed-bag in terms of offerings but it's sometimes worth checking out what's on at The Lights Theatre. The theatre itself is about a 10min walk from the house if you use the underpass along the main section of Junction Road. (although I'd not recommended walking this particular route alone at night- no previous bad experiences but always best to be safer!)

Parks & Nature
There are only short walks in Andover itself, but this one is a little more 'wild' than the others and we like it for a simple stroll. For real hiking you would have to go further away but it's not a bad bet if you're just looking for some fresh air.
