Fantastic indian food, BYO beer/wine if you eat in or grab a takeaway to enjoy back at Field View. 15-20 minute drive but has car park and worth it!

Straddling the river Avon, Bristol’s former city-centre port is now a cultural hub, the Harbourside, where the M Shed museum explores local social and industrial heritage and the warehouses now contain lots of restaurants, shops and cultural institutions. Bristol also has a good Park and Ride Service but finding somewhere to park is less challenging in Bristol and the straightest route from here is M4, M32 which does not pass a P&R. NB: Bristol does have a clean air zone so worth checking your vehicle online before you go as you may need to pay to drive into the centre.

Sightseeing

The Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Pultney Bridge and The Royal Crescent are just a few of the places you might like to visit in Bath in addition to the shopping and restaurants! Check out the Visit Bath website for more details. We’d recommend using the Lansdown Park and Ride - BA1 9BJ especially at busy times of the year such as peak summertime and The Bath Christmas markets. It is the most cost-effective way to park and convenient. The last bus stop and pick up location is outside The Ivy on Milsom Street. A seat on the top deck of the bus gives you a good view of the houses and gardens on the way in too 😉 Alternatively, The Podium Car Park next to Waitrose is a good option to park in the city.
