Must visit the Drottningholm's palace, the official residence of the Swedish Royal Family. There's another Palace in the park: China Palace, very beautiful!
You can go there by boat or by public transportation.

The Vasa ship capsized and sank in Stockholm 1628. After 333 years on the sea bed the mighty warship was salvaged and the voyage could continue. Today Vasa is the world's only preserved 17th century ship and the most visited museum in Scandinavia.

One of my favorite excursions from Stockholm is to Sigtuna, Sweden’s first town.
Founded in the 10th century, Sigtuna is a pint-size town, so charming as to cause one visitor to remark to Camilla Zedendahl, managing director for Sigtuna Tourism, “When do you close for winter?” As if it were a Disney village. But Sigtuna is a real town, pedestrian friendly on the banks of Lake Mälaren, less than an hour outside of Stockholm. The town can be reached by train, bus, or boat from the center of Stockholm
Sigtuna boast a good selection of stores, cafés, restaurants and if you plan to stay a few days before or after your cruise, hotels.
You can get there by commuter train+ bus using your SL card

It's very original...you eat and drink garlic! Garlic shots are awesome and original... At first maybe a bit strange, but after a while it goes down very smoothly!!!
