Kricket is a restaurant which takes Indian street food to the next level, you can’t book, just turn up and they’ll take your number, it’s in the famous Brixton Pop which is full of indie restaurants and trendy bars, so if you don’t eat at Kricket (which you should!), you should definitely go to Pop.

If you don't’ go to Chicken Liquor definitely stroll through Brixton market - so many lovely places to eat there.

This is where the cool kids hang out before hitting the man trendy cocktail and live music bars of Brixton. If you don't’ go to Chicken Liquor definitely stroll through Brixton market - so many lovely places to eat there.
You can’t go to Brixton without going for jerk chicken! And Negril has long been heralded as the best jerk chicken shop around. It’s no frills but is as authentic as you can get. Slightly out the way, but no visit to Brixton will be complete without a visit.

This place gets very busy in the evenings, sometimes there’s live music and always lots of dancing on the weekends. There’s also games like Pinball and darts. If you go and fancy a snack, try their sausage rolls or scotch eggs.

This is a famous Brixton venue on the weekends, with live music and a vibrant crowd. It’s open till late and if you want to listen to some SKA or Reggae it’s a perfect place to settle in for the evening. It’s an all standing and all dancing venue which gets very busy.
