This is the local coffee shop. They make great coffee and the scene is very cool. They do many events here from art to music on a regular basis.

Bahrs has been here forever!! It is an Icon at the shore. They serve fresh seafood, have a great little gift shop and a bar right on the water that is open in the summer with live music at night.
Moby's is just next door and they have very casual seafood. You order at the counter and eat in the back over the water on picnic tables. They also serve wine and beer.

This is a BYOB Farm to Table restaurant. The food is always changing and is amazing. This is more of an upscale restaurant. William is the owner and takes great pride in what he does. If they have the carrot cake you should not deprive yourself!!

The Inlet is located at the foot of Cornwall Street. They have great local seafood and the salads are very good. There is outdoor seating and a bar inside and outside. The soup sampler is one of my favorites as are the fish tacos.

This is a beautiful restaurant at the foot of Cornwall Street. They have a large outdoor dining area that is on the water. Bars inside and out. Bands on the weekends. After 10 it turns into a nightclub.

This is only a few minutes from the house and offers amazing views of NYC. The light house was used to protect NY harbor and was where Marconi sent the first telegraph. There is a small museum there. Its a great spot for a picnic or a stroll.
