There are several locations. This is one of Austin's pizza fixes. Funny, it pays tribute to "Detroit style pizza". I grew up in Metro Detroit and never heard of "Detroit style pizza". But Via 313 is the best pizza in Austin, for sure.

Closed on Monday. Open the rest of the week from 11AM until they sell out... which is usually by 2PM. It's just that good.

Lunch and dinner is fast food style (order at the counter and then take a seat and wait for your number to be called).
***Save yourself the parking headache if you go for breakfast. Just park across the street at one of the fast food places that isn't open for breakfast.

One work... Peacocks. Okay, that's not really fair. I'll tell you more. This is a little park right next to another iconic Austin location. There are peacocks everywhere, roaming freely on the grounds. It's very cool.

This is without a doubt, the most breathtaking view in Austin. It's a sunset thing, but honestly, pretty any time of the day. Parking is a bear. Wear good shoes. It's quite a climb, even if you take the stairs.

It doesn't make sense to visit the capital of Texas and not go see the Texas State Capital. Even if you don't choose to take the guided tour, the building is very impressive. Go see it.
