If you feel like a walk to the water (only 15mins) then this cafe is great for breakfast and lunch.. the seafood chowder is fantastic!

A french 'almost' fancy bistro....they have all the wonderful french cuisines - however my favourite is their cheeseburger!!

Prego has been around for 30years... it is a fantastic place for all types - its super family friendly from 5.30-7.30, thereafter its more an adult dining option...they also do takeout - but you have to pick it up.

This place has the best Fish and Chips (nearby to our place)... there is only a small amount of eating space (mainly outside) but you can take it away and eat at home or at a park or scenic location.

Waiheke Island is a fantastic place to visit for a day trip (40mins from Auckland CBD). Once to get off the ferry at Waiheke Island, you catch the bus (15mins) to the Oneroa have a wander through the cute shops, have lunch and sit on the beach.. Onetangi beach is also a stunning beach in the summer.

One of NZ's most iconic black sandy beaches. Great for a walk, and icecream.
This a lovely park to go for a walk, in the spring they have lambs and daffodils.... plus a good cafe!
