Very good place with typical food in the middle of a wineyard. open during the week at noon till 17h. In Valsequillo you follow Guachinche at the gas station.

Nice hiking to Roque Nublo. Once you are up there and if the weather is clear you will see Tenerife with the Teide and even more... be sure to wear good walking shoes with all the stones.

Very nice little town with old houses and statues. they have some handcraft stores and it's just nice hanging around there. Very close to this town you will discover Guayadeque. Beautiful baranco to hike.

Visit old town Vegueta and see Casa de Colon; a beautiful house near the cathedral of Santa Ana. The museo Canario is in that area and will tell you more about the history of the island. All the street around are beautiful and you will certainly find a nice restaurant in this area. There is also a indoor marketplace Mercado de Vegueta.
I also recommend going to Parque Doramas and see the Pueblo Canario and the museo Nestor.
Plaza Catalina and around is also nice and the centro commercial el Muelle at the sea side for shopping.
On the other side you have playa de las Canteras with a nice promenade and the Auditorio Alfredo Krauz where you can see a concert.

Municipality of Las Palmas
Visit old town Vegueta and see Casa de Colon; a beautiful house near the cathedral of Santa Ana. The museo Canario is in that area and will tell you more about the history of the island. All the street around are beautiful and you will certainly find a nice restaurant in this area. There is also a indoor marketplace Mercado de Vegueta.
I also recommend going to Parque Doramas and see the Pueblo Canario and the museo Nestor.

Little Venise from Gran Canaria! beautiful town with nice houses full of bougainvilea in a typical style. great to walk around and eat some fresh fish at the other side of the commercial area at the fish harbour. there is a nice market on friday but very popular.

Nice harbour and promenade to some natural pools. good fish restaurants and Agaete is a nice village a little further. In the evening you will see sunset over Tenerife and the Teide... on clear weather!

Very nice town with those typical house with wooden balconies. Main street going to the basilica Virgen del Pino with some small shops and a nice museum in an old house. some good restaurants around the basilica. Have a walk around and go also behind the basilica.

Visit the old town of Telde, San Francisco and San Juan and walk around the church. There is also a Casa museo Leon y Castillo good for a visit. Good restaurants around.

Artenara high in the mountains and with cave houses and beautiful nature around. there is a Cave restaurant at the entrance of Artenara where you see a big cross on top of the hill. You can visit the cave house museum before 4pm.
I suggest you driving from Artenara to La Aldea de San Nicolas. A beautiful rough road like the Far west!! this is route GC210.
