This 30-acre museum and environmental complex is a great place to explore the history of Sarasota. There are ancient Indian middens, homes and lifestyle examples of early settlers and beautiful gardens and pathways leading to and overlooking Sarasota Bay. It is wheelchair accessible and a good place to bring children and pets. Admission is $12 and the parking is free. Spanish point is worth the visit!
