Le roi soleil built this incredible castle. You will see that is more a entire city than a castle, (between 5000 and 10000 people lived or worked there). In theory, under Louis XIV, everyone could come in versailles if he was wearing a hat and a sword (and it was possible to rent that at the front door !) Knight for one day! really far from those days with plan Vigipirate ;)

Le roi soleil built this incredible castle. You will see that is more a entire city than a castle, (between 5000 and 10000 people lived or worked there). In theory, under Louis XIV, everyone could come in versailles if he was wearing a hat and a sword (and it was possible to rent that at the front door !) Knight for one day! really far from those days with plan Vigipirate ;)

There is Notre Dame, 200 years of building, still ok after the fire (anyway it was too long to wait get Inside...). Of course, Notre Dame but all the island ' l'ile de la cité" and her twin l'ile Saint Louis are good. take a walk, have an ice cream, sit near the Seine.... sweet life
