Unassuming and delicious taco stand right down the block. Because -- Mexican food! Carne asada, pollo, carnitas - tacos, burritos, enchiladas (and of course, menudo) all served up fast and delicious at this little neighborhood spot.

Bread et Cie bakery is a personal favorite for breakfast/brunch or tea. Some of the best bagels in town at BCB Hillcrest. A very crowded Trader Joe's market and a cool ACE Hardware store. Traffic sucks - take a rideshare - adjacent to Balboa Park.
