This is one of my favorite wineries in Sonoma County. I recommend this to people who take wine seriously. They offer free tours with the idea that visitors will be purchasing wine.

Fort Ross is a GORGEOUS 40 minute drive from my house. It is an old Russian fort with so much history, architecture and coastal views. Enter the museum to watch the short informational video before walking to the fort to fully enjoy the experience.

Some first growth redwoods are found here. This is a great place for a leisurely walk, or if you want a strenuous hike continue to the backend of the park where Austin Creek Preserve starts and take the 6 mile hike down to a fern gully and back.
