Everything Else

Historic Rugby TN was founded in 1880 and built as an experimental utopian colony. While this experiment failed, a small community lingered throughout the 20th century. In the 1960s, residents and decendents began restoring the original design and layout, preserving some structures and rebuilding others. The Victorian architecture and picturesque setting make it a popular attraction.
