See the Presbytre and the French Market, and check out the Central Grocery for mufalettas-but get there before noon, to beat the crowds. For dinner, we love Deanie's and Acme Oyster House. Be cautious and aware in the French Quarter, especially at night.

Take a nice walk through the neighborhood next door to the French Quarter. Have lunch at the Praline Connection (the red beans and rice are A+) and check out a show at one of the many bars. We love the pralines at the Praline Connection and Loretta's.
